Community involvement

Jászberény, the seat of the Jászság region, is a small town of 28,000 people on the Great Hungarian Plains, with a pleasant atmosphere and rich in historic monuments. The first large industrial plants of this typically agricultural town were founded in the 1950’s, providing more employment opportunities and a more secure livelihood to its inhabitants. Over the past decades the town has undergone considerable development: its infrastructure was expanded, successful enterprises were founded, and the city also plays a prominent role in the intellectual life of the country.
